Annual Pass 2026
CINEMASF iS rOLLING oUT a nEW sET oF aNNUAL pASSES fOR 2026!
For the third year in a row, we’re rolling out a new set of annual passes for 2026 that can be used at all three of our historic venues: the 4-Star, the Balboa, and the Vogue.
These passes provide year round access for local moviegoers to some of the most exciting and diverse programming San Francisco has to offer. Grab free tickets to new blockbusters and independent releases; alongside timeless classics, overlooked gems, midnight favorites, and even a few special yearly festivals these passes provide access to (Mostly British Film Festival, Godzillafest, and more).
As CinemaSF goes into its 14th year of operations and celebrates important milestones like the upcoming 100 year anniversary of the Balboa and the new restoration of the Vogue’s classic 1940’s neon marquee, buying these passes (either as a holiday gift for loved ones or simply to watch a bunch of great movies throughout 2026) go a long way in supporting our year round goal of insuring that all three of these theaters can continue providing the city with the kinds of events that help bring audiences together.
Long live CinemaSF, and cinema in SF!

Depending on your tier, it can also be used on one popcorn per screening (sizes vary based on the pass). As of right now, the pass can only be used at in-person locations to order tickets. But, tickets can be bought in advance in-person.
What can the passes be used on?
Any regular screenings of old and new films. This includes ongoing film series like Fogcutter, Super Shangr-la, and WNP Film Club. The pass can also be used on certain festivals CinemaSF puts on, but this will vary.
What can the passes not be used on?
Most special events including: live music and live comedy. Any shows with ticketing outside of CinemaSF’s Veezi system.
Is there a way of knowing which festivals the pass can be used on?
Starting in 2026, ticket pages for any festival showtimes on the sites will list if the movie can be used with the pass. As a general note, most of the festivals which don’t work with the pass are the ones that are being put on by outside organizations (Frameline, Doc Stories, Indiefest). Festivals like Godzilla Fest, Mostly British Fest, and Ocean Beach Film Fest do work with the pass.
